2 days to go...

last friday we had a mock recitation... our classes haven't even started yet. reason? they wanted to orient us on the Socratic method. fortunately, i wasn't called. ( that's coz i invoked the spirt of master jedi yoda..."relief, i felt" then *speaks to anakin skywalker* i will go to the dark side of the force to be with you) anyway, for the poor souls who were called? i think they're having second thoughts about law school.

first case i read: people v. lol-lo and sarao. (an archaic case about piracy, dated 1912, when Filipinos were still called "moros")

second case i read: people v. abarca. (death inflicted under exceptional circumstances - if you committed a crime of passion, you're in luck coz we have a law that says you won't go to jail :) you will just be banished from your hometown, the people you love, etc. destierro is what they call it.) muy interesanté!!! no?

i'm loving crim law already and i'm preparing my eyes for abuse. hmm... i don't know for boring ones like legal history and consti, though.

we have an inch thick of readings already (that's only for one day, one subject) so, i'll be at the library tomorrow. *gaah*
